HTC Incredible S Reviews

If there is anything negative you can say about the design of HTC phones over the last two years is that - apart from the odd echo - they become stuck in a bit of a rut aesthetics. The incredible, however, could be the HTC shock of his stupor and get it headed in another direction.

Instead of HTC duotone color scheme usual, is wearing the incredible all-plastic soft touch midnight black. Forward, it does not distinguish that much, but from the back, it's a completely different story: a geometrically irregular bulge dominates business, running like the edge of a sink ceramic pieces on the periphery of the frame.

It looks a bit like a hybrid of the Defy Motorola and the Motorola XT720, but he manages to avoid the ugliness of the latter, and in the hand, it feels light, but solidly built. The only thing we do not like the design is the matte black finish. As you can see in the picture below, it takes fingerprints and smudges like nobody.

Still at least there is nothing to complain when it comes to specifications. As with the Flyer HTC, S Incredible leaves no stone specification chance with a Qualcomm 1GHz, 768 MB of RAM, a dual LED flash for the camera to 8 megapixels, and all the wireless connectivity should: 14.4Mbits / s HSDPA, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS and a 1.3 megapixel camera facing the front for video calling.

The camera records video in HD 720p - no surprise - the internal storage and comes just over a gigabyte. It's a bit disappointing, but there is at least a microSD slot so you can add up to 32 GB more.

The 4-inch, 480 x 800 Screen DCL up the phone perfectly between HD Desire (4.3in) and desire (3.7in) and opposite the former, we found the Incredible very comfortable to hold and operate with one hand. Despite the bulge in the back is only 11.7mm thick and weighing 135.5g a quite acceptable.

More good news comes in the form of a 1450 mAh battery, larger than the unity of the HD Desire, which means it should easily last longer than his big brother.

If there is a black mark on the name of the unbelievable, it is first that will be Android 2.2 (Froyo) under the skin HTC Sense. When it becomes available (in the course of Q2), HTC is a promising first improvements to 2.3 (gingerbread) and finally 2.4.

We have to wait and see if HTC keeps its promises on this front, but it would be a shame to let this superb device trolling for any longer than necessary.
